Why participate

This isn't about how you look.
It's about who you are.

Every person in our books has a story. Some came to us after life-changing moments: survivorship, self-discovery, reclaiming their bodies. Others simply wanted to see themselves through a different lens.

We pay everyone who participates. Your time and vulnerability deserve respect. This is professional collaboration, not exploitation.

Your images exist only in a limited-edition art book. Never posted online, never used without your consent. You'll receive copies of photos that don't make the final cut to keep forever.

Inside Out is all about the naked truth of what's behind the costumes we wear. Two photos, one story. One image that the world sees often, one that is reserved for mirrors, lovers and those we hold most close.

We're looking for people of all kinds: all genders, all orientations. What matters is genuine authenticity, vulnerability and confidence. We can help a little with that.
