Shooting in London
Our home city. Where Cesare House began, and where we shoot most frequently. London's creative energy runs through everything we do.
Apply to Shoot in LondonWhat to expect
A city built for this kind of work
London is where Cesare House was founded, and it remains our most active shooting location. We run multiple shoot days throughout the year, typically in blocks of three to five days, giving us the flexibility to work around your schedule rather than forcing you into a single date.
We shoot in private studios across the city, primarily in East and South London. These are professional spaces with controlled lighting, comfortable changing areas, and complete privacy. Some of our favourite locations include converted warehouse studios in Hackney and Bermondsey, where the industrial architecture creates a beautiful tension with the intimacy of the work.
For certain projects, we also work in carefully selected hotel suites and naturally lit apartments. The Sunday Morning couples series, for instance, calls for a domestic warmth that a studio can rarely replicate. We choose these spaces with the same care we bring to every other aspect of the shoot: they must feel safe, unhurried, and genuinely comfortable.
The creative landscape
London's body-positive photography scene
London has long been a home for photography that challenges convention. From the galleries of Shoreditch to the exhibition spaces along the South Bank, there is an appetite for work that is honest, diverse, and unafraid to show people as they really are. That cultural backdrop matters to us. It means our participants often arrive already familiar with body-positive art, already engaged with the conversation we are contributing to.
We have exhibited work at Now Gallery in Greenwich, a space that champions emerging and boundary-pushing visual art. The gallery's commitment to accessible, thought-provoking exhibitions aligns naturally with our own ethos. Being part of London's gallery circuit means our books exist within a broader artistic conversation, not in isolation.
London is also home to events like the World Naked Bike Ride, where several of our participants first encountered Cesare House. That crossover between activism and art is something we value deeply. Many of the people who shoot with us in London come from communities already engaged in body autonomy, self-expression, and the quiet political act of being seen.
Practical details
How a London shoot works
After your application is accepted and we have had an introductory video call, we will schedule your shoot for one of our London sessions. A typical shoot day lasts between two and three hours, though we never rush. You will have time to settle in, ask questions, and get comfortable with the space before we begin.
We provide everything you need on the day: refreshments, a private changing area, and a clear rundown of how the session will unfold. If you are shooting as a couple for Sunday Morning, we will talk through boundaries and comfort levels before any cameras come out. For solo shoots, the pace is entirely led by you.
London shoots are paid at our standard rate. Payment is made on the day of the shoot, no invoicing required, no delays. Your time and your trust are worth something, and we make sure that is reflected from the very first interaction.
"I was nervous beforehand, but from the moment I arrived everything felt calm and professional. The studio was private, the team were respectful, and I left feeling genuinely proud. It changed how I see myself."
