Your safety. Your control.
In an industry with a complicated history, we've built something different. Here's exactly how we ensure every shoot is professional, respectful, and entirely on your terms.
Your rights on set.
These aren't suggestions. They're guarantees. Every shoot at Cesare House operates under these principles, no exceptions.
- 01
Bring anyone you want
Partner, friend, parent — anyone. They can stay the entire shoot, help position lights, sit and read a book, or join in with the inevitable banter. No prior notice needed.
- 02
Change your mind any time
You can reduce your intimacy level at any point. Just because you said yes to full nudity doesn't mean you're committed — sometimes we order tea and then realise we don't really want tea.
- 03
Zero tolerance
Any coercion, pressure, or misconduct results in immediate termination of the shoot. Your wellbeing is not negotiable — ever.
The intimacy coordination system.
Before we meet, you'll have a video call with the photographer and any crew. Most importantly, you choose your intimacy level. This sets the absolute boundary for the session — you can always go lower, never higher without a new consent form.
- 1 No nudity Clothed throughout
- 2 Implied nudity Suggestive but covered
- 3 Full nudity Whole body shots
- 4 Abstract nudity Artistic, non-sexual
- 5 Erotic imagery Sensual content
You choose your level before arriving. The camera doesn't come out until everyone knows the boundaries.
Your images, your control.
-
Print only
Your images appear only in the physical book — never published online. Some photos that don't make the cut we'll give to you. If you want to let us use them on this site or social media to attract other models, that's your choice alone.
-
Limited runs
Each book is limited to 150–500 copies. When they're gone, they're gone. No reprints, no digital versions, ever.
-
Written approval required
Any use of images outside the book requires your explicit written permission. We don't assume, we ask.
-
You receive images
You'll receive a minimum of 3 high-resolution JPEGs for your own use. In truth, models normally receive lots more — it depends how the shoot goes.
Everything else you might want to know.
What if I change my mind during the shoot?
You can reduce your intimacy level at any point during the shoot. We'll adjust immediately, no questions asked. Your comfort is our priority.
Can I bring my partner or a friend?
Absolutely. You may bring a chaperone at any time, without prior notice. They're welcome to stay for the entire shoot.
Will my images appear online?
Never. The images we shoot for the book only appear in the printed book. We do not publish them online. We'll give you some of the photos that don't make the cut for the book and you're free to do what you like with these. If you want, and only if you want, you can allow us to use some of the rejected images on our website or social channels to help demonstrate our work, but that's your choice — no pressure from us. Each book is a limited run of 150–500 copies.
How are you different from other photographers?
Our intimacy coordination system, zero-tolerance policy, and print-only approach set us apart. We treat this as professional collaboration, not exploitation. You're also very welcome to take up references from any of our previous models. The testimonials on this site are real — you can speak directly to the models and hear how the experience was for them.
What happens if I feel uncomfortable?
Speak up immediately. We'll pause, adjust, or stop entirely based on what you need. There is no pressure, ever.
Is this professional or amateur work?
Professional. You'll be compensated for your time. Our work has been exhibited at Fotografiska, Haze Gallery, and Now Gallery.
I've been to Burning Man / I'm part of the Burner community — is this a good fit?
Many of our participants come from the Burning Man community, where body positivity and authentic self-expression are valued. The ethos of radical self-expression and consent-based interaction aligns well with how we work. We've met several participants through Burning Man and regional burns.
I participate in World Naked Bike Ride — would I be a good candidate?
WNBR participants often share our values around body positivity and normalising the human form. Several participants in our books discovered us through naked bike ride communities. If you're comfortable being nude in a public setting for body-positive activism, you'd likely feel at ease in our private, controlled environment.
Is this body-positive photography?
Yes. We celebrate all body types, ages, and backgrounds. Our work intentionally counters the narrow beauty standards in mainstream media. We're not looking for "model" bodies — we're looking for real people who want to explore and celebrate their relationship with their own bodies.
I'm part of a naturist or nudist community — is this similar?
There's a natural overlap. Like naturism, we approach nudity as normal and non-sexual (though some projects do explore sensuality). The key difference is we're creating art for a limited-edition book, not casual social nudity. Many naturists appreciate that we offer a way to celebrate their comfort with their bodies in a meaningful, lasting format.
Do you work with couples who aren't married or in traditional relationships?
Absolutely. We work with all kinds of couples and partnerships — married, dating, long-distance, non-monogamous, same-sex, and everything in between. What matters is genuine connection, not legal status.
Is this fine art nude photography?
Yes. Our work sits firmly in the fine art tradition. It's exhibited in galleries (Fotografiska, Haze Gallery, Now Gallery), published in limited-edition art books, and treated with the same care and intent as any other form of artistic practice. This isn't glamour photography or content creation — it's thoughtful, considered art.
