Cesare House is an independent photography studio based in the United Kingdom. We make limited-edition fine art photography books with real people.

2. Information We Collect
When You Apply to Model
If you submit a modelling application, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Preferred city/location
- Which projects interest you
- Social media handles (if provided)
- A photo of your face
- Your reasons for applying
- How you heard about us, and the name of the person who referred you if you tell us
- Which page you first arrived on and, if you followed a campaign link, which campaign (for example, an Instagram post for a Berlin shoot)
This information is collected solely to assess whether we might work together. It is not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
When You Join a Waitlist
If you sign up for a book waitlist, we collect:
- Name and email address
This is used only to notify you when pre-orders open and for related communications about that publication.
Website Visitors
For general website visitors, we collect minimal data:
- Age verification confirmation (stored locally on your device, not on our servers)
- Anonymous visit statistics via Plausible Analytics: the pages viewed, the referring website or campaign, your country, region and city (from your IP address, which is not stored), and device and browser type. Plausible uses no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. All data is aggregated and hosted in the EU.
We use these statistics to understand which pages are useful, where visitors leave the site, and whether our campaigns in different cities are reaching people. They cannot be used to identify you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Review and respond to modelling applications
- Understand which campaigns and referrals bring people to us, and thank people who refer others
- Notify waitlist members when pre-orders open
- Communicate about shoots and related matters
- Comply with legal and contractual obligations
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage for:
- Age verification: Remembers that you've confirmed you're 18+ so you don't see the notice on every visit. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
- First page of your visit: For the length of your browser tab session only, we remember the page you arrived on and any campaign link you followed. It is sent to us only if you submit an application or join a waitlist, so we know which campaign brought you. It is cleared when you close the tab.
We do not use cookies of any kind, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Secure hosting and storage (Cloudflare), our talent platform (EqualFrame, UK/EU-hosted), email services (Resend), data storage (Airtable) and anonymous website statistics (Plausible, EU-hosted), who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
- Secure, access-controlled data storage
- Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
- Regular review of our security practices
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Model applications: Retained for up to 2 years if unsuccessful, to consider you for future projects. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
- Waitlist signups: Retained until the relevant book is published and sold, after which your data is deleted.
- Model releases and contracts: Retained for a minimum of 6 years for legal and licensing purposes

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Restriction: Request limited processing of your data
- Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
- Objection: Object to certain processing activities

Our website contains artistic nudity and is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to:
